I am as we would have said in England completely knackered this morning. Dropped yesterday in Farmers Branch (a nicely rural name for a burb of Dallas...) an 8 hour turn around for a pick up at the same place...stopped @ the TA in Denton, I have not and will not sleep at any of the Dallas Truck Stops any time of the day or night... picked up and hauled through the night as far as Jackson,TN...passing thru your hometown tonight Tow!!! Around 600 through the night miles helped by Pilot Intense Energy coffee, Just A Minute (BBC comedy panel game), Ocean Colour Scene and The Long Ryders..... headed for Rocky Hill CT for Monday evening and a 1,700 mile start to the week....it's really ramping up here now!!!!

What. A. Night. Drove until it said 00:00. Cruel Jack's in Green River, WY. Got 1320 to Terre Haute. Yay! Thinking about the conversation with Tow the other night about GTI, I came to a conclusion. I don't miss it. As a matter of fact, thinking back, I ####### hated it there. Bunch of ####### ####### that would call up on me for trivial bs because they all were such brown nosers. "Truck 10234 didn't stop at the stop sign and uses me as sheild as I was turning left". "He threw a cigarette out the window!!!" "He passed us on 90 going 65!!! The speed limit is 60!!!! "He was wearing white after Labor Day!!!" Bunch of non working little babies. Go into a shop and it takes 6 hours to change a tire, and a lot of them would take it to the shop for a headlight because they all have pamolive ##### hands apparently. Oh my god what a group of sissies there. And they almost got me. I almost became one of them. The blue kool-aid wasn't strong enough though. Too bad I like thinking for myself. Screw you GTI and heartland express. Bunch of #######.

Every day I'm not there I feel more and more like a human. I don't know how I lasted 11 months. I tried. I really did. I put my best face on it. Turns out I'm not one of them. I'm not a whiny little tattle-tale brown noser. If I was doing stupid stuff, hell, you're more than welcome to rat me out. But that menial trivial bs that they did? And because the dry van guys didn't want to run a reefer so you sit me for 28 ####### hours to deliver a load for 12 miles??? You're out of your minds. It feels good to be a truck driver again

If you go back to your thread when you were first looking at gti I told you that after January 2013 changes were taking place that I perceived as for the negative... however you came on board anyway because you wanted a smurf truck.

I had a good experience there but things began unraveling all last year ending with the heartland disaster...
