    You know DD, that if some moron hits you and you were looking out the window, and the camera picked that up, you're at fault. If you're sipping from your coffee cup, you're at fault. Changing the radio station? At fault. Those that dislike the cameras are like that because of the added liability to us as the drivers, not because we do things that get us in "trouble".

    Like I said, I might be the only non-paranoid driver around. Having a camera in the ####pit doesn't bother me one bit.

    And I never change my radio station. Ever.

    And you must have Sirius satellite turned to Howard 100 too.

    Sounds to me like you drank the company kool-aid DD...

    There have already been plenty of reports on this site of companies calling drivers because they watched them on the video and they were not checking their mirrors often enough and such...

    They try to tell you that in an accident it will only start recording 20 seconds prior to the accident. In order to do that it has to be recording the whole time..

    Nope. I don't really "listen" to it, though. It's ambient sound; I have to have someone but if I start listening to it, I get distracted.

    No Kool-Aid was harmed in my decision making process. I've heard all of that and more and it still doesn't matter to me. If I get such a call from the company, it still won't matter. I believe the good outweighs the bad.
