SEC does appear to treat the folks good. Enough to make me apply with them if this gig turns to crap.

I am not a recruiter. I guarantee you this stuff that tow and I are posting is %100 true. I have not met
a dissatisfied driver that works here yet. I hope it
stays like this. I don't think I will luck into a job like
this ever again. This company really does try to take care of their drivers.

When I switched out of GTI it was not a particularly tough decision. As I have said before, my final decision was based on a single service writer out of Pontoon Beach flat out lying about and to me. That was the straw that broke the camels back as it where. I thought long and hard about what my next move would be and narrowed it down to three, it was a return to Crete (which I am glad I ruled out as they are, apparently, installing driver facing cameras) Ozark and Holland, which is of course where I am now. My decision was based on research into many things, driver comments on here, safety records and equipment, and length of haul also pet policy. The reason I chose Holland is because they checked off most of my criteria, the only thing that concerned me was the distance they are from my home (Bloomington,IL to Fargo,ND) if things cut up rough.

Whilst my miles are not quite as stellar as Joseph's I am regularly posting 3k a week and $1k (pre tax). Also big for me is the LACK of micro management it can be SEVERAL days before the QC will beep, and that is either a brief message from Safety or the next load (always a welcome sound that one!) they leave you alone to DO YOUR JOB...I remember once I had a QC nag screen asking me my ETA at another company (I honestly do not remember which it was!) and my message was simple....about 15 minutes later every time you send me a message asking!!! I am at a company now that I can genuinely see myself retiring from, something I have not really felt at all before.

I also had no difficulty saying stop. Called the wife to confirm and make travel arrangements.

She ended up driving out to pick me up, cheaper than bus.
Cleaned out the truck and gave the keys to the guard @ rancho yard.

Only issue was timing, I was going to jump in Jan/Feb not end of December. It was just time to Pinch the budget tighter and get out.

I have come to understand my huge mistake in not fighting the original ticket in Wyoming that resulted in the suspension of my Michigan CDL privileges. While trying to find a replacement job that pays more than being a Walmart greeter - and at my age, it's not easy - I discovered that even the residential lawn service drivers for Tru-green have to meet CDL requirements, even though they don't have to hold a CDL. So having a current suspension remove that as a possible job.

Bummer. And I have another 10 months to go.

DD ; out of curiosity, have you at least spoken with an attorney for advice. I know many offer free consultation.

Another reason to do so is , when your suspension is lifted the violation will still be there along with csa points which may further prevent you from gaining employment.

The Michigan law is very clear and was highlighted in the letter I got. Because the violation occurred in another state, Michigan used the file they received to make the determination as to sanction. It was only contestable on matters of law, not the facts of the case. There is nothing a Michigan lawyer could do.

Fortunately for me, Michigan "only" assigned me six points and I have never had another point of any kind; if I had, my driving privileges would have been suspended. Not just my CDL privileges. That would have put me in a very bad spot, indeed. But it also means I have to be very, very careful when I drive for the next three years. One more point and I can't drive anything.

So if Michigan used the file from the "other" state. Why can"t you find a lawyer from the "other" state to look into the file and have it changed? Then go after Michigan?
