I have a friend in the wholesale fresh flower bussiness. Not to be underestimated! Lol. Maybe you can get another load from them. then demand payment on the last and current load upfront. Ofcourse you’re risking jail time for holding freight hostage. A serious offense. But maybe you can convince them that you’re too dumb to know better. Best thing to do is file a claim against their bond. That’s what it’s for, depending on how many others have filed, first come first serve. Unless they go into Bankruptcy, then you’ll get a percentage along with all the others that filed.Thats how it works, that’s what you’re Legally entitled to.

Seriously, they have a bond for a reason. Get the name of their bond company and file a claim against them. It ain't rocket science.

    1. Sue the broker. You don't need a lawyer. Just a clean BOL.

    2. Sue the shipper.

    3. Sue the receiver.

Forget the bond company! All they want to do is find a reason to denie a claim or pay as little out as can be.
