Recently bought a 2006 W9 with electric windows. They go down fine but are slow to come back up. Seems to me they are binding because I can grab the window as its going up and rock it towards the back a little to straighten it out and it goes up much better and you can hear that it isn't working the motor as much. I'm guessing window regulators? If so, where is the cheapest place to buy them and how hard are they to replace. Both sides are like this but the drivers side is a little worse I'm sure because its been used more.

    TIA

I have a regulator at the house - have not installed it yet, I had the same problem as you.

    White lithium grease - fail.
    Vaseline - fail.

Cleaned it all out, and Armor All, Auto cleaner. Apply to channel that the windows slide in.

Up and down like a (rhymes with paws) draws.

That's why I like the air slide like on mine. 120 psi will move anything lol
