It's that boxy rectanguar plug in - I think you can get a dummy link from the dealer, so you can don't have to hack the factory harness - easist is a stereo that is 'Class 8' designed.

Fluoro bulbs with a higher wattage perhap?

I've got a Delphi unit that I bought a while back from the Freightliner dealer for that reason, I think the size is pretty standard, but I hadn't come across the female multi-plug design on the back of the unit. I just swapped it in between the company trucks - easy. I've got it in my KW now, same plug, but need to buy a unit with an aux input.

It was sold as 'heavy duty' Class 8 etc etc, and so far has held up good. Bit pricey though.

Scosche #VW01B STANDARD WIRING HARNESS along with any DIN radio of your choice. Just match color to color on both harness and go! If you buy head unit from Sonic Electronics.com they include adapter harness of your choice for free.

    damutt Thanks this.

    1. I ordered harness from Kenwood with the harness to hard wire my Sirius radio into the head unit(very bad idea BTW) prevents theft but also prevents you from moving it into your personal vehicle.
    2. I replaced the complete overhead sleeper light with LED version bought it at Camper World in Bowling Green Ky.http://www.campingworld.com/shopping/item/led-light-utility-light/57271
Didn't even have to change the plug. Just my $0.02
