Late for delivery 1 hour, have to wait 5 days

Given what happened in the op... he is no longer the captain of his ship.

 

So what happened? Did you sit? Did you get unloaded before day 5? Did you die of malnutrition?

 

Slipping the dock manager a $100 usually gets me a door when there is none available.

I had Amazon try to pull a stunt like this on me last year and all I did was present them warehousing options because that was going to be my next step unloading the truck at a warehouse and they were getting billed for redelivery.

It only took them about an hour and a manager contacted me to put the truck in the door and unload.



OP.... You never asked them to find a warehouse..... you find it on your own and tell them where the freight will be going and they will be getting a bill for it. ... Before you do this advise them of your plan.
