If it's not required and Melton says to tarp, then leave the Driver tarp? box blank! Then they can't say you lied and say you tarped when you didn't lol...

I see. Well, I'm late for home time, nothing important, just the kids first birthday... As of now, Melton gets me home on time only 50% of the time. I'm a wee bit disappointed.

I can understand that. I don't know if you qualify for it yet, but remember that you have 2 guaranteed home days a year, 1 every 6 months.. :)

Yea, I know about the guaranteed days, but I don't qualify yet. :biggrin_2557:
I deliver north of Sacramento Monday morn and won't have hours to make it home until Thursday unless I take another 34.

Id be a little more understanding if I thought that Melton tried their best to get me home, but it doesn't look that way.

i told my DM when I put in for home time 3 weeks ago that it was for the kids 1st birthday and she flagged it. I made it to Denver expecting a run straight to Phoenix for Monday which is when I set home time for.

After getting unloaded in Denver, I got a pre plan going to Sacramento area which I refused and told my DM why. She told me that Melton doesn't run freight from CO to AZ and that I "need to go get this load now." Then accepted the load for me.

So either the planners ignored my home time flag, sending me somewhere with no chance of getting home, or my DM straight up lied to me. Not sure which one.
