607 miles last week. I guess I'm not eating until the 15th. No miles and no hometime has left me mad. Almost mad enough... Still no call from a DM. Guess I'm a nomad for now.
Mrh2008, my advice is this...start looking at other co's...don't wait till Melton causes you to lose everything you own..protect yourself
The problem is, I don't know of a company that'll give me similar pay and benefits. This 607 mile week was because I had a 1400 mile load drop the morning after pay period cutoff and my DM didn't push the pay thru. I do make good money here. About 3x what I made at my last company. I hop the problem with my hometime was my DM, I've been home on time 33% of the time since starting.
Well here is a update for the last few weeks , did 2000 one load first week out of hometime,then 2200 3 loads next week,last week was 2700 3 loads,this week I will have 2700 on Monday at the cut off.kind of a bummer though I got 5.5 hours detention Monday then ran 1976 Tuesday thru Friday at 2:30,then got my face shat on with a 770 mile 2 drop western exscrewsion load picks up 10 pm Saturday night for Monday morning.had to happen sooner or later I guess it's been a while since th last on. This will be my 9th or 10th load under 825 miles except for one 925er. I have loaded or unloaded every day except on Sundays which I will this week. Too much fun. By the way I am in dallas
They usually ask you if you have the hours. Or you tell them you dont have the hours and they give you a different load...
