Idk dude best I can say is go and buy a 150-250k on a super rig and spend another 50k-$100k depending on type of trailer you seem to be flush with money. I saw you other post and never said nothing but it just seems to be a joke you want a projector to watch movies on side of trailer and inside the bunk...
Also are you sure you willing to be out there with the other drivers what languages do you speak ? Better brush up on Spanish Russian and Arabic ... With all that money are you going to feel save working with many people that have criminal records? While the people on hear are good decent folks this is a small percentage of the drivers out in the road.
Walk me threw this I'm just a dumb truck driver. So you want a bownflex in passenger sit to work out t I presume . Yet you say why would I do the lumping ? Well for one it a good workout . Save you from wasting half your day on line 4 so you can be more productive after all you said the driver is the least efficient part of the equation. Well hell I bet you have pie chart ven diagrams and a few power point that told you that yet you say no to lumping and rather play battlefield 1 or hack up your truck putting a work out station in the front of the cab...You just come of as the type that has never done anything where a computer wasn't at your finger tips. I'm really. Not being mean just calling it like I see it
as for your least efficient part hear is how i see it as many others
the main reason it so inefficient is the over regulations how is a simple blue collar job more regulated then a brain surgent ? how is it the staff at a emergency hospital that can put in hours longer then a simple truck driver? how is it the said doctor have more accidental death then truck driver yet we have so more regulations? how is it that if you want to be efficient and abid by the laws you have to drive while tired to get your 11 hour driving time in? why cant you drive for 8 hours take a 5 hour nap then go and get 3 more hours then take another 5 hour break and start your 11 hour clock over again? why can you only work or drive for 11/14 a day?
it just seem to me you dont know the job and are hoping for a self driving truck so you can play games and sit on your bowflex ?
idk i love by job and truck but it just seem like a very poor choice for you from what i have seen from your post being focused on tech and gaming and movies on side of trailers...etc

A computer is a tool, just like the tractor is. An asset to make money. I do have a plan with my financial advisor in place on how to buy the rig, but that's not for me yet as I'm still a novice to working on the road.
The way I have looked at it is to put 15-30k in a money market account for all emergencies. com-something checks for lumping. Still learning yes, I'd not have a truck and trailer loan, just a large bank loan with a low interest rate.
I've built many micro-pcie pc's its nothing special but I'd probably just use one of Razers new laptops with the Nvidia 1060's or 1080's in them for gaming.
Am I worried about being around felons? I mean I'll rig the truck with cameras, but no I'm not overly worried, I'd not look out of place to anyone id have my curtains closed probably.
Are all my ideas good ones? Nope! The projection idea onto the trailer is amazing, and would be fun IF it was possible to use blm land. Would I still do it on my buddies ranch in Texas? Hell yeah I will. But its not feasible everywhere.
Life should be fun. I don't need to make 100k trucking, or even 50k I want to work hard in life, and putting 11 hours into driving is something I've done for fun on a four wheeler. Driving from Cleveland to Miami in under 24 hours to make a cruise is what I call the start of my vacations, lol. -
if you have no need for money/job why would one take on the cost to truck, buy a rv and enjoy no hastle of work after all you loaded runing your supercomputer on walstreet highspeed trading for a fraction of a penny right?? just to turn that key is going to be $ .40 - .$ .50 if not more if your hauling heavy in the mountains in fuel alone . $10k a year insurance , oh sorry about your luck you blew your motor that be $25k idk i guess oil changes are $300 or more now adays . as it is it to many truck and truck driver . yet keep touting about shortage to drive more like you in it while giving mega company that you sign up for big goverment kickback for job training while knowing full well most will drop out as said company underpay and over work where life isnt fun. if life is fun why are you signing up for a mega that going to pay you probably $.35 a mile and run you like a dog?
alright in all seriousness good luck im just trying to be real with you as i dont thing your really quite know what you think you want to get into . who knows maybe you truly do want to do this and will be a asset to the community . i just see you buying a truck and runing it for $ .50 per mile after fuel -
truly good luck at driving school , when do you start look forward to reading about your adventurers into truck driving .really im not being rude even though it may read that way just hoping your have a very good idea of what to expect before your locked into contract or before you opt out and end up paying them $6000 or what ever they charge. im not sure what they charge. i got my on my own and have never worked for anyone else in trucking
