Linears: Tell me what I need to know before I buy

Sweet 16 is a 8 pill Texas star

 

So I just love branding of these boxes.

 

Mine is a dirty, nasty hand ground copper slate from black John in Memphis, it's about 25 years old. It has seen use to drive 32 pill black John box.

They both bleed 80 channels up and down, blow up old school TV's and make little old ladies hide in bushes.

 

I once had a freightliner fld and believe it or not whenever i turn right side turn signal on my engine shut off, and this is while rolling.

It was a ground issue, don't ask me why it didn't do the same with the left side turn signal.

One thing for sure when i called the shop and explained them the issue, i momentarily lost all my credibility....as soon as the truck got in the shop i have regain everything that lost.

 

8 pill it has all mosfets in it. there are 16 mosfets in it that I know of.

That may be true. I haven't bought a amp in years. So Texas star has gone to mosfet's?

 

yeah it's a class a/b amp... don't know much about them. back in the day a whole lot of drivers ran them. I had a Texas star dx 500 a long time ago. was a good amp. I ran it for a couple of years
