Ohio is nice. Ok I take that back.....Ohio is more like the. "Hotel California " you can check out but you can never leave. Sitting in Natrona Heights for the night. 20hrs left to get through 2 days. Wonder how it will break down this time.
Beaver dam, oh. Paid for parking. This was a circus getting out of ATL oc today. Wrecker trying to leave with an ic couldn't get out of gate. Dropped trailer in the middle of the way. Took 30 minutes for the line to clear.
Kenton. Getting out of the Bronx was brutal today. That and shutting down at the time that I usually start my day is turning me cranky. Can't stand it when they get me all flipped around like this. Tomorrow's load is an impossible one which will force me to sleep on the street which I absolutely hate minus a few select places. It's the only way to "make it work." In case you havent figured it out, things are still not improving with the new travel agent.
That's one of my favorite stores... When you get below 14 remind the office.... They make the changes, but All our dispatch comes out of Greenbay & they don't know whether you have one month or 20 years experience... That's why you get what you get... You're starting off better then I did, I bent a blindside trailer rim, messing up a right hand detour turn in Greenville, Pa. 2 years ago in my 1st month.. I once pulled in with 50 minutes on my 70... do to traffic...
At home, had a Colonoscopy done for peace of mind... It's a lot like delivering to the Cleveland stores...
Loves, Boise city, OK. Tired but can't sleep. I like running vampire, but I hate if it's only for a few days as it takes me a full week to get used to it. Had a short convo with my dispatcher today which only reiterated to me that he has no clue about what his trucks are doing and how they operate. At least I have cool customers. Last night in waxahachie, it took almost a half hour to even get into a plant as no one answers the call box on swing shift. Of course there is no sign stating this. No sign with a phone number. No sign designating where the 'truck gate ' is in a plant with 12 gates. Even on their phone board , the first thing said is 'If this is a driver needing directions. Hang up and call your dispatcher' lol! But I finally got ahold of somebody and my appt was wrong, so it was actually 2 hours later. They were really nice and we had fun loading. Tomorrow , unload in Cheyenne, then drive to Omaha to the only tankwash anywhere near the next customer who will do polymers, then to one of my favorite customers to load, then to Hartley Texas where I'll most likely be stuck over the weekend with no hours. At least I made some money this week
Made it home tonight. Only 7ish hrs left for tomorrow then I get to go enjoy a fancy hotel and fancy dinner with my lady on Friday.
