We have a 2013 with 700k miles and runs great and a friend has a 2012 with 650k miles and also runs great. Both T660’s isx15.

Trick to staying out a long time, is windows, and walking. It’s amazing how different you feel when your truck sleeper has no windows compared to having 6 like some KW. Keeps cabin fever down.

A friend also had a 2004 T600 with an isx15 and has 1.39 million miles before he sold it. Truck was flawless the entire time. The emissions really hit engines hard. Look on truckpaper and you see trucks with rebuilt engines with under 300k miles.

I have a cm871 with just shy of 996k and 27,874 hours. I just started going every 500 hours per oil change for the winter as I run the pto a lot or 15k miles in the summer. It uses a half gallon to a gallon of oil per interval. The bell housing gasket is starting to leak pretty good when it is below 20F upon startup. Once everything is warm it’s not an issue, but I plan to get that fixed this spring.

I’m sure I’ll have to put some money into it before too long or get a different truck, but so far it’s been great. The emissions have been “fixed”.

I had that model in my last truck. It did ok until the camshaft went out at 600k miles, the day before I was picking up my load home to pickup my new truck. That was as poor timing as you can get. It got decent fuel mileage and no other big issues. I talk to the guy that bought it every once in awhile and it’s been ok for him. Used a gallon of oil every 12-14k Miles. The problem with Cummins is that there is so much soot in that motor.
