Jeeze! What a bunch of clowns. The guy's just looking for some advice on how he might find this guy. He's not a trucker, so he may not understand where the sleeper is on a truck. No wonder we're thought of as a bunch of jerks and slobs. You're representing us as a whole! If you don't have anything good to say just don't post!

He's a PI and knows how to run through anyone giving him a hard time. I don't think a little funning will really bother him one bit. Relax.

well he gets paid to think like a / be a trucker to get his info. Where do you think he got all that info? He knew engine size, air filter size, trailer size and so forth. Sounds like he did some research.

The affordability comment was made directly to lonewolf4ad who for some reason decided to make this a pissing contest rather than try to help.

I am looking for a truck driver. There was a man killed. It is important to the family of the man that was killed that I find this truck driver. I am aware that the time span makes the likelihood of finding him slim to impossible, but when trying to gather information about a trucker, a trucker's forum is a good place to start. Just because it seems impossible does not mean I am not going to try. I have found people with less. If it were your loved one that was killed I believe you would want the investigator to try every means possible that could possibly lead to finding him.

Does anybody have any information about trucks in that area carrying gravel at that time, or any knowledge of a company that's initials are VP or VF that advertises on their mudflaps?? I am asking a real question and am just looking for some direction and some common courtesy. A man did die.

    Thank you.

If this guy was hauling gravel, you might want to check with the local quarries as well?

It looks like a dump truck in the photo... Is it a tractor trailer or a dump truck?
