I dunno if you're in their hiring area but give Millis Transfer a call. I hear mostly good things, nice KW's and .37cpm to start.

Millis does NOT start at .37cpm, and they do not hire students from outside schools, the ONLY new drivers they hire go threw their school.

Thanks for all the replies. Still looking into companies and getting as much info as possible before I start school. One other question. Do you think the lack of employment history is going to be a major problem? Like I said I messed around working a cash job and screwed myself out of the history. Good money will make a man do some dumb things.

Thanks for the clarification. Just cause I hear it doesn't always mean I believe it.

You will definitely need proof of your employment and you will also need notarized letters stating what you were doing during the times of any gaps in employment. I think they consider a gap of employment around 3 months or so of a time limit. This is a federal thing and not a company policy.

The problem is there is no proof of employment other than scale receipts. When filling out a application is it best to put none for employment history?

just call a w/s recruiter and explain your situation. Most of the bigger companies wont even look at you without a work history
