And have my wife change it to Mr. Oblivious and not notice it for 6 months? Pass. Hard pass.

I'm going to cut to the chase. Can anyone just pay my bills so I can fish everyday. I may also deer hunt occasionally, I hope that's not a problem.

I've had some time to think about this, and isn't the OP basically just asking for a lease purchase deal? There are lots of those out there, but nearly all scams for the driver. They also don't involve owning anybody elses MC number.

Where do you guys run? I would think that the OP would have contacted you guys on this. Just curious, as I'm looking at going back Car Hauling. But, this looks like a sweet deal for someone.

I just putz around Michigan, Detroit, Holland, Lansing, Flint, Saginaw... Sometimes head into Ohio, Toledo normally, a few times a year out towards Youngstown, and once in a blue moon head to Fort Wayne Indiana. Normally work 4-5 days a week and head to the house. Most runs are 100 miles or less. Sometimes just a few hundred yards... Money is good, no one bothers you, plenty of work, only around 6 of us out here at any given time, 10 trucks is all we run, all O/Ops. The pay is spot on without all of the fun and games most outfits put you through. No fees, everything is included in the 30% they take, insurance, trailer, etc. They figure our IFTA, we pay that. Last quarter it was $14. I supply the plate. After all expenses, a normal net per mile is $1.80+, and it is slow right now. That is after ALL expenses. Some weeks I have averaged some stupid money, I won't even say how much, as I am not wearing my flame suit. ;-)

If I lived up that way I would jump all over that kind of a deal if the company would put me on. (I live in Savannah, Ga) Sounds to me like a great starting point for the OP. I assume this is all flatbed, or dry box freight with company trailers. Thanks for the info... Best regards to you and yours..

There is not a single hypothetical scenario where it does work. Loos out downside and no upside for the other party.

Seems to me, he's basically asking for an unsecured loan.
