Low altitude route help?

Wouldn't pressure in the bag also be reduced?

 

The bag is sealed so the inner pressure remains.
Reducing the outside pressure at that point has the same effect as increasing the inside pressure.

Ever seen a science fiction show or movie when someone get tossed out into space?
Into a total vacuum, so zero pressure, and they just expand and balloon up until things start to burst?
