that is one bad thing about convenience, left leg/knee is atrophying like a mf, it just lays there all day like a meat stick
Well, its time to evolve guys... Electric is here and those dinosaur, fuel inefficient, murder on the knee caps, sharp pains in the right shoulder, ooopps I missed a gear downshifting, now I'm plummeting to my death days will be a thing of the past!
Be sure to call that REAL TOW TRUCK as I sip my latte with my shorts and house shoes on while you stranded wit cha 10 gallon hat and nuts bunched up wit the tight Wranglers on!
I was all about just reading this thread and hanging back. But I’m curious to know your age and how long you’ve been driving? I’m not being sarcastic or poking fun at you. Just legitimately want to know.
Sounds like you need to learn to drive in the hills, there is no reason what soever to let your truck speed up when down shifting on a grade with a manual, period.
+15 mph is an exaggeration, but when you've dragged that gear down low enough to get the next one, in the time it takes to take your foot off the brake to blip into the next lower gear, a loaded smooth bore tanker does not hesitate to boogie. I guess if you were good enough you could left foot brake the whole time and just float all the gears in with the right foot throttle...
