Just watched the third video review on the 955 where the reviewer said that out of several mics, the stock mic always gets the best reports. Any owners using stock mic? Prefer it?

Since Chinese quality control is less than consistent occasionally I hear a stock microphone that sounds amazing but that would be the exception not the rule

Then again the only time a stock microphone does sound great is on a properly tuned radio which isn't something you bump into very often on the interstate.
It's probably a safe assumption the ones that sound like crap quite often it's probably not the microphones fault

Impedance matching is one of if not the most important point of getting good audio. Any mismatch will cause distortion.

According to Ridgeline impedance matching means nothing.

I've watched a bazillion microphone tests on YT and always seem to prefer the audio of the RK56. What comes with the 955? Stryker branded?

This test here is like night and day to me...
