That one is super clean looking except it's missing the Medallion on the front with the EV logo here's a picture of the one that I currently have hooked up and mine is kind of dirty.[IMG]

You will like the SRA 198. I have the old Turner 56 and bought the 198, there pretty close but I get better compliments the Ranger 198. I bought one those mics that Rabbi is referring to, just been to busy to wire it to go on my Galaxy Pluto.

Someone asked about the stock stryker mic being noise cancelling...If it looks like the one in the pic, its not...Stryker does make another mic to go with the 955 but i dont know about them..
Cb radio magizine did say the same as someone lese here did that sound reports came back better,i tried mine and got told it sounds good but didnt take much before i changed it back to my 636..Didnt like the tinny, hollow sound and either my speaker being to close or talk back up to much it squeeled a lil..

Just clicked on ebay and the other style of stryker mic is listed as noise cancelling..

How it sounds is determined by who "tuned" the radio.
It is best to use a stock unmodified radio for testing.
If you notice, on a properly tuned radio they all sound good with slightly different characteristics for each one.
Some will have higher output levels than others. If it sounds awful on a stock radio that means it needs to get thrown in the trash.
If it sounds great on a stock radio but sounds less than desirable on your radio, it probably means it's time for you to find a new technician.

Reason for edit: most of them should sound good on a properly tuned radio
