Don't have to be smart to turn the key on or off, and listen. The difference is very noticeable.

Not everybody has the common sense to turn the truck off before they start blaming the radio

If you remove the antenna, is the noise still there?

I was going to drop Mark a note on FB and thank him for the awesome tune on my radio but apparently Zuckerberg has finally pulled the plug on messaging within the website.

I uninstalled the FB app from my phone because of the spying they were doing. I'm certainly not going to install their messenger app.

That was my first reaction. But then I figured if they really want to know they'll find out anyway. And I don't have anything to hide at the moment. When they call up all of us old farts to go take back our country, I'll go "black" at that point because I'll be "all in"!

I just discovered another reason for using a high Q antenna instead of a widebanded antenna with a lower Q. Widebanded antennas are noisier and pick up less signal on the center frequency they are tuned to. Hi Q antennas pick up more signal and reject noise more efficiently. Maybe the copper has less to do with the SNR than the Q. Or maybe it's a combination of both.
