    Not sure how fiberglass has anything to do with whether or not you have a tunable ground element..

    Needs to be on same mount the stud is bolted to.
    Physical length means nothing
    Electrical length means everything.
    Both elements must be resonant

    So tuning the bottom part you would adjusy it say with lowest swr,r#/x# ect ect then install and now same with top part??
    My question is,if im not gettin a proper tune with top part now,hows it gonna work tuning the bottom,missing something here..

    Bottom must be close before you start.
    Test on another known vehicle with good ground

    Without knowing the rf ground potential, those readings are useless to me

    Lord jumpin j#sus..See now you through something new at me again..
    Someday ill have a base line of something...I wish i had a direction to go..Keep seeing different stuff and just end up sayin eff it..Then i get mad cause i said eff it and try again ..
    So far im told to loose my tall ant mount and get a longer shaft for my ant...Then its use a 6-7 ft skip shooter,then dipoles and mega brackets...Also told my set up is a better idea,yet no detailed info as to why it works or doesnt with any sort of proof other than "i get 30 mi or i get skip from japan" kinda stuff..

    Sorry,im ranting a lil now..

    how many ohms and how many amps can your grounds handle?
