Marker Lights aren't working on '03 Freightliner FL60

    To conclude this thread...

    After several hours of checking all the lights, connections, and wires; it was finally found.
    The Licence plate light itself corroded right at the back of the housing. And with it being mounted to the mudflap plate, it was ground out. Replaced the light and wiring, and the problem went away.

    Like everyone else said it was a short in the system.

    Great! When lights come up for a second, then turn off... This is a short and circuit breaker interrupting it. Cheap but tedious to deal with...
