    I’m not saying that’s how I run my operation but I spent the first half of my life working in middle management working for some super wealthy people that could never do what I did for them and there business.

    I do now have a dispatch but she has skin in the game (wife). I also get special favors sometimes for throwing a tarp or doing other things ( but good for the overall) I may not like.
    I couldn’t be more happy with my current situation for me or my “team”. But I do all my own wrenching and she handles all back office ( taxes included) stuff.

    Also made it abundantly clear that she had to produce more money to the bottom line than she made in her previous day job before I agreed to the situation.
    Worked out well for both of us.

    I'm meaning honestly, OP is probably right...My crapcadia broke down 2 weeks ago in Chicago with DPF issues.

    Called around to dealers and they said 5-7 days before they could look at it. % hours of YOUtube and a drill bit later and I was back on the road.
