Maybe a silly question but you keep a printer in truck for BOL & scan it to Broker or shipper?

I have an all in one printer/scanner in my truck but rarely use it. Occasionally I'll sign up with a new broker that needs a physical signature on their broker packs so I print it out, scan it and email it back. Other than that, not much use. Almost everything is done through my phone.
