I am just finishing up my first week on the road being leased to Mercer. I am another happy driver with them. I might be doing 500 mile hops everyday but they keep this truck moving!

That's what I've been doing too. Less miles but better rates.

Do they have a trailer purchase program, or do you have to be set up from the getco?

Yes they can set you up with a trailer lease for around $500-600 a month. at the end of the lease you can purchase the trailer OR outright buy it at anytime IF you have the money.

Thanks, Ill have to give 'em a call. Is that what it would cost to finance anyway?

Are the miles good enough to justify a truck and trailer payment?

    Thanks

You could purchase a trailer yourself and get it a little bit cheaper and have cheaper monthly payments. BUT at least if you get one from mercer and you decide to do something else you can give the trailer back and walk away.

I can't give you an accurate answer about the miles since I am still pretty new, but they have been keeping me moving every single day as long as you are willing to make 500 mile hops

About the 500 mile hops, we are talking loaded miles here right? Not 500 mile dead head to get a load I hope,..
