    I don't. I try not to put them directly above the tires, but even when I've had to, I've had no issues with them touching. I do have 4 2" straps and hand winches, but I seldomly use them

    Correct on that. It's a great place to be. Sometimes new things come along , and you have to adapt, work thru the growing pains.

    Just out of curiosity do any of you guys carry pipe stakes? I've only seen one load requiring them in a area I was in and it paid good...

    I carry 4. Had to turn down several loads in my area at the time when I did not have them.

    How many is a set 4? And where did you buy them? Also.... to hold them in the stake you use chain correct, they don't just sit in there right?

    Yes 4 I got them from wheeler metals muskogee ok.
    You use 1 chain and binder pull them to each other and tighten them.

    I bought a section of channel iron 3 1/2 x 20 feet , cut into 4 and 1/2 foot sections , welded small angle iron on each side six inches from bottom, I hold em in with bungees , and will often run a chain from one to the other to keep them upright when loading

    These are nice 6ft high thick pipe. It's rusted with one ended smashed in. Fits in the pockets perfect
