I'd have probably just said something like "Well, looks like you just bought yourself a pickup."

Problem is, most of the stuff I own, insurance wouldn't be willing to pay what they are worth. Heck, i've probably got $20K in the wife's Suburban that might book for $3K. If it were a "new" truck, or one that would be easily replaced, sure..."thanks, buddy...you just bought me a new truck!" But for what I've got, replacing it won't be quite so easy.

Because the newer generations have takin the statement "How stupid can you be" as a challange not an insult.

Eh...self defense. Luckily he was unsuccessful in his attempt to murder me with his trailer...just wanted to make sure he wasn't going to try to finish me off with his tire thumper.

Like Georgia DOT is gonna believe that BS. Seriously? The minute they see a firearm appear on their property(other than their own) basically you are VSF.

Agreed. It's a car. Not worth killing, armed threatening nor going to jail for. 100% replaceable.

Tho, adding a few new lumps to the drivers head might have been worth the inconvenience he just caused.

I don't get why people don't just fisticuff anymore. Instead you need to pack heat to feel safe, confident and to have that upper hand (or to level the field as the deeply paranoid will tell you)... Rather kill a man for his transgression instead of beating a lesson into him by beating the stupidity out. The world becomes more cowardly and afraid everyday.
