Lobbyist for truckers on the 'driver shortage': 'If the job that you're offering sucks, is the solution really go find more suckers, or should you improve the job?’

Just the title tells most of the story.

 

Yeah, I liked how they were able to estimate how much time is spent waiting and looking for parking every day. That's a big part of the problem, and reducing that would make everyone happier.

 

Granted I had a Tuesday final last week, but this weeks mileage on Check will be 4500. Solo.

 

What happened to your pain in the a__ student you had a couple weeks ago? I may have missed a post about it. The last one I recall you were still dealing with him.

 

He is in his own truck, still recovering from his non stop talking. Thankfully he texts me questions don’t have to hear his voice. According to his dispatcher the guy is doing well.

 

Give it time. His dismissive attitude along with the safety concerns. Something will happen. Hopefully it is minor.

 

Did you clone yourself to do that? It's impressive regardless of how you did it.
