Congratulations! I am sitting at 9000 after 3 weeks. Trainer had some things going on back at home so I’m grounded for a little while. Should be going back out next Monday but haven’t heard anything concrete yet. He warned me of a B service when we go back out so we will see.

Funny thing is I’ve only been out on the road for those 3 weeks and after being home for a week I’m bouncing off the walls wanting to get back out there.

    Good luck and stay safe.

Do you remember how often the freight was going to Western NY. I'm from Western NY and just looking to get an idea as to what that freight lane is like there.

Man, I really miss Wisconsin. When I had to stop for the night at that exit, I'd either hit either The Buckhorn or Bowery Bar & Grill. They're both a bit of a hike from the Pilot, but worth it. Bowery is a bit further but worth the extra few steps. Nicer surroundings for sure. Buckhorn is ok, I guess. If you had a weird/creepy uncle that owned a bar, that would be it. Nice enough place if you wanna deal with townies.

Last winter I was in New York non-stop. At least it felt that way. Just ask your dispatcher. There are no shortage of loads there.

My husband is from western NY, used to be erie, but we moved. They can always get him home when he requests it, always on time if not a day early. He does get a drive by every once in awhile. We actually just had an emergency c section, and they were able to get him back in 3 days, even though he had just been home. Very good company.

As a side note... I pick up in extreme western NY fairly regularly. Plus I've been doing some Syracuse and Binghamton runs. I'm seeing Millis trucks on the regular. You aren't gonna have issues.

@Goobr54 it looks like I am now the one who owes you a call. Sorry I didn't pick up when you called. I'm getting some stuff done at home and my day was a little crazy. I'll holler at ya soon.

I bet you say that to all the guys :p

Okay, I'm outta here. I'm out of practice bad, 1900 miles in 3 days with only a 10 in between each day and I'm beat.... I must be getting old.
