I stayed at Petro in New Paris, OH last night. The stalls in the fuel island building/store had toilet lid cleaner!!! I never go to Petro, my company is almost exclusively Pilot(which I hate). Might have to stop at Petro more often. The one I park at by my house sucks....didn't use to years back. I did use the lid cleaner, alot of it!
^This.. you're dealing with people who work a crappy minimum wage job, you're not going in for a stay at the Four Seasons. It's hard enough for most of these places to keep adequate staff on hand.. I'm always seeing hiring signs on truck stops and fast food places. When the turnover is high and few people want to work there, you can't crack the whip too hard..
You would be surprised what they make and what the four seasons employees are paid. Would wager they are close.
Fortunately the ladies restrooms are for the most part cleaner, unless you come in behind one of those Mexican busses.... As for Pilots, they are some of the worst. We were in LA the other day, partner got out on the driver side and nearly puked. I've smelled city dumps and been downwind of chicken houses, pig farms and dairy barns that didn't smell as bad. Partner turned white and if he had anything in his stomach, he would have contributed to the smell. I went inside and told the attendants, no response. Told the people behind the counter, no response. Told the manager who sent the attendant to "check it out". We left without eating. Several hours before we could eat again.
Could have been like the Pilot in Ohio. Pulled in and parked. I was bobtailing so I gave up a spot for a someone with a trailer. Someone was nice enough to dump a entire load of chicken in plastic bags out the back of their refer and onto the ground. Nice 90+ outside. Poor employee had to haul all of it to the dumpster. Mark
