No doubt about it but when the big whigs are allowed to make more money and not have it all taken, the little man wins too. When the rich get richer, the poor get flat screen tv's and cellphones my friend (hardly poorer).

Most of the idiots have a big D by their name and no doubt a few have an R too. But life is always better with the big R in total power. If it weren't for 9/11 just think about how great it could have been!

A lot of the problems we see are still because of 9/11. Remember, their goal was to destroy our economy. I'd say they succeeded mostly because of bleeding heart idiots that want to try and hug their ememy and "understand" them.

####### like Obama that wants to shutdown Guantanomo and house them here on our soil and give them a trial in NYC. Yeah, how's all that workin' out for ya' America?

I can't for the life of me understand why a stranded driver wouldn't just drive the truck home, instead of fussing with the bus etc. Even if he buys enough fuel to get there, so what? Then notify Arrow to pick up the truck at his house. They won't get paid anyway, right?

Not like the DAC hit will matter anyways lol. If I had the means, I'd fuel enough go to the house and clean it out and if a dealer was close, I'd run it there and if not, I'd park it at a TS and call the nearest dealer around and tell em where it is.

It's tough to say though, it's not your truck so.. I wonder if scalehouses are on the lookout for Arrow.

I bet Daimler has the word out to tow companies to pick up any Arrow truck they see . Park one and go into a fuel stop and you may come out to find the truck and all your belongings gone .

think of the drivers who found out at the fuel island. trucks were impounded so the company in effect let the truck stops, unknowing , become their repo men. DUH HELL. i would bet you that the owners had a ride home. if you are owed money this is the only way you will ever see it. i've been down this road for over 20 years. you will piss time and money away trying to get paid and you never will. i did not intend , nor do support looting, stealing and other , you name em, forms of theifery. what i do condone is getting paid what is rightfully mine.remember i have no dog is this fight. but i have seen drivers screwed 9 ways to hades and even few years the same ole scams on a bunch of newer guys. money owed to finance companies will be taken in repo rolling stock. same thing. Johnny

once saw a pete in vegas that the owner had screwed the driver. driver hired a mech to come out. tanks, wheels , fuel, anything that could be removed was. sorry , abandoned vehicle. fine when i left it, i'm sure was the drivers answer. i too feel for the driver and their near and long term future, and of course their families.i once found myself afoot in dallas tx after giving notice in Miami that i was quitting and that whenever i got back to the terminal i was through. i lived then as now in NC. had to find my own way home. first and last time. say a prayer for them.

if I were in that situation and had enough fuel to get home thats where I would go and if the company owed me money they would pay before they got their truck back along with a signed receipt for the company equipment and that it was in good order

That might work if the company owned the truck but they don't. But I would roll home if I could and clean it out.

Almost right, very close...if the drivers can afford to, get the rig home, immediately go to the courthouse and file a "Mechanics Lien" on the equipment, in the amount that you're owed by Arrow, plus court costs, plus a justifiable amount for "personal hardship and family concerns".

Daimler, KW, and International, are all taking advantage also. they are offering a whooping $200.00 or a bus ticket, in effect for the finders fee in a repossession. I worked for a company (one guy, had 10 trucks) years ago that did this to us. I got the rig home, (no Qcomm or other so they couldn't electronically spot it) waited for the call from the repo agents (interesting enough, they were out of Tulsa now that I think about it) and arranged for the transfer..using the figures I mentioned above...got all that was owed me...and I didn't show the truck till after I cashed the com-check...no personal checks BTW.

Do it legal...do it right...don't strip the truck...return it as is, and get pictures of the truck for your own protection when you turn it over...don't take any chances!

Good luck all Arrow drivers...sorry it's not a very merry Christmas for you...pretty big lump of coal for these folks in their stockings!

Not even. From what I hear, the drivers aren't technically 'fired,' just 'suspended.' Which means no unemployment benefits. Arrow stuck it in and broke it off, it appears. :biggrin_25516::biggrin_25516::biggrin_25516:
