Not calling anyone a liar hand. Maybe they fueled before the cutoff point or had a cashier manually do it who knows. I do know Arrow is the bad guy in all this not the driver so that's all that matters.

With EFS if you punch in and there is say $500 on it and another driver punches in at the same time who ever shuts off the pump is the one who gets the fuel paid! I got stuck at the Flying J at Rapid City in July because of this! He had his paid for and I only had $53 paid on a total of $400 something! They kept an eye on me till that Bottom Feeder NRF put the cash on the card! Took almost 6 hours! Talk about feeling like a shop lifter!

But you are correct. It could be another truckers story as I really don't think she would be dumb enough to drive away knowing the cops were going to charge her! Then again who knows! BUT them we just might get to see another police video of them chasing a bobtail!

I was with Trism when they closed.
I took the trk. to Kennasaw,Ga.

They asked where was I wanting to go.
Phoniex i stated as I had another job lined up.
They figured up the cost of a bus ticket and gave me a EFS code for that.
Closing down was different than the Arrow drivers are going through, but they gave people tickets or cash.

I do feel sad for the drivers in this deal

So in this case with arrow, when drivers can not deliver the loads they have on the trucks, do they still get dinged on thier dac for load abandonment? or does arrow not have the option to do that now?

    Good question.

What about when they leave the truck and call them where it is because there is no fuel? Truck abandonment?

I would hope they have no ability to further harm their drivers.

Let's put this in some perspective here. 1. The management of Arrow Truck Line is the failure here. The Tulsa World reports there is $500,000.00 in lawsuits pending against them. The management knew this. Some of the suits according to the paper were ruled in favor of the plaintiff (not Arrow). 2. Daimler owned the trucks at Arrow. The newspaper was unable to get a figure on that but they were to replace the trucks over a 5 year period. The management at Arrow knew this. They were well aware of their obligations. 3. They were still advertising for drivers and at least one poster on another thread had been approved to go to work for them. This to me is downright deception. Not the fault of the economy. 4. Yes the economy is in the toilet right now, but let's put the blame where it belongs in this case. Squarely on the shoulders of Arrow Truck Lines management period. No ifs,and or buts. They knew their obligations and responsibility. I feel for the Arrow employees, drivers and their families. What a thing to happen but Arrow isn't the first and I suspect it won't be the last. I am not defending Obama , the Congress etc. The failure of Arrow Truck Lines rests squarely on the management of Arrow. No One Else!! The way Arrow did this and the lack of respect shown for their employees is inexcusable. I suspect we have not heard the last of this, but we may never know the whole story other than the management of Arrow Truck Lines was a complete and total failure period. The CEO, CFO, and Board ( if there is one) should be held accountable for this failure. Unfortunately it probably won't happen. 5. No one in the management at Arrow should ever be permitted to own,run or manage a trucking company again. Won't happen though and as another post said they will probably be back as the New Arrow Truck Lines. What a shame!!! JMO.

He can try to run one but good luck getting drivers after this fiasco! No driver will touch em'! They blackballed their own DAC lol. I don't think any trucking companies will care what Arrow puts on your DAC either. Arrow is DONE and the upper management is done in the industry as well at least in any real leadership decision making roles. What co. would want them?

They'll get theirs! Biz shuts down all the time but not all treat their drivers like Arrow has! Obama and friends (idiots who voted for them really) still have a hand in this it's not like Arrow was born yesterday. Big boys are droppin' like flies from the socialist dominoes coming down the line.

The management of Arrow better hope no one freezes to death because they cut off the drivers ability to refuel. It's one thing to abandon a driver its a whole other matter to sentence him to death because he couldn't keep warm.

I seldom wish bad things upon others but the Yo Yo that did this to these drivers really needs to rot in hell.
