With them bouncing payroll check , can you really blame the driver for selling what he can to get up enough money to make it home . I would do the samething in that situation even though it might not be right

someone posted the owners address and home number on facebook can i repost it on here ?

240 and on two different occasions i ran out of fuel before hitting 950 miles. yes that would have been closer and easier. i was waiting for repairs. my turbo was shot as well. i was waiting on a po from arrow to get a check and advise from the ta there lol. if i had full tanks i would have headed towards a friends house turbo or not. i had to convince the dealer to take me to the bus stop. diamler coverd the ticket for the bus but told me i would be on my own getting to the stop. :biggrin_2558:

I would not worry about abandonment at this point. There is NO Arrow now. Nobody to notify dac. Doug P. has enough to worry about. The fact that most of the payroll checks bounced in the past 3 weeks, causes grave concern for the owners, as thousands of dollars of criminal bad check writing has occurred.

As far as the equipment left on the trucks, there's nobody at Arrow now to receive and inventory the chains, straps, binders, and tarps.
I was talking to one of my friends who was stranded, and he said he can't get through to ask anybody at Arrow, what to do with the equipment. So he sold as much as he could and took a bus home. He had NO fuel. Couldn't even idle, let alone drive to Kenworth. Arrow gave the drivers 'til yesterday to get all of the trucks back there.

What a pitiful way of handling the situation. One more question; what do the drivers do with the trailers of Arrow's, once they get to the dealerships?

I'm glad my friend got home! he left the truck and trailer at the T.A. in Portland, and said adios!
The bad thing is, he's got no paycheck for over 2 weeks, and he has 2 young children at home, a stack of bills to pay, and little food for Christmas.

I don't blame you for saying that, staff member. I too, know his address and name. But its not prudent to give it out in a public forum.
That's what email is for, off of your website.

IF anybody ever gets any back pay from Arrow you can bet the cost of any equipment they signed for will be deducted . That's why I said it would be best to try to get a receipt signed from a dealership .
The trailers ? That's why Freightliner wants drivers going there . They won't get full equity on the tractors so they'll put a lien on the trailers and auction them off .

I would kiss that back pay and anything they owe you goodbye. -->If they had the money they wouldn't be having Daimler etc hunting down their trucks.

Keep the receipts (all your expenses) and pay stubs, detail your case as best as you can and date it. File it away in an envelope and wait for a bankruptcy proceeding in a few years.

I would move on and start looking for a job right away. In fact find out who is now running the account and jump on with them. =Same crap different company.

If Arrow files bankruptcy driver pay will be the last thing they have to pay back. Which means the employees are pretty much screwed.

Agreed! The credo today seems to be, "Look out for Number 1, Don't step in any Number 2"
