I worry about getting hacked. I don't own a debit card. Just a credit card. Hackers are much, much smarter people than I am.
Thats why I have 2 checking accounts....1 with a card, and the other with checks only The one with card has no more than $200 at any given time, with hard declines if over-charge pops up. For online purchases I use paypal debit card. It buffers purchases for a few days till I fund it...and send me a text/email everytime it's charged against, allowing me to "review" the purchase. For fuel swipes I use a credit card...so no "pin" can be skimmed.
So that chip card stops the hackers huh?I just started using mine and was forced to activate it because the bank was closing my other card march 3.But I have to admit I like it.its a prettier color and that gold chip matches it perfect lol.
That day I used it in Arizona at the The Thing store, I hadn't used it for about a week before that. Who Knows?
Yes, like the CIA? I suspect many of the anti-virus companies are introducing new viruses just to solve them for us. Why not the CIA (and other government agencies) doing the same with hacking the credit and debit cards, computer video/audio etc? Either have the knowledge to get in, and probably the knowledge to remain undetected while doing so. Orwell's 1984 is here folks. Big Brother is not only watching, but...
