If you end up going back to CRST, check into Coast 2 Coast truck driving school in Marine City they work with CRST and they pay for most everything, i just graduated from there, i financed my schooling and am headed of to Schneider on Monday, either way Good Luck.
Of course you can go to another company, go to one with tuition reimbursement and they will pay crest back. What ever you do don't go to crengland or you shall see what disorganization and filth is like.
Thanks headgasket, you just gave me an option out lol. Cwills, Sounds like they have you already brainwashed imo
but how are you going to prove you passed a school?do you think crst will give a transcript to someone who hasn't paid?
I am NOT brainwashed not by a longshot, just speaking the truth. If someone can't afford to go to trucking school then CRST is a good place to start if they can deal with the information I provided. They key here is if you looking to get you're CDL & experience then you good, but if you looking to make 50k the first year then you will be heart broken and that's why so many people hate CRST. I never started school with CRST the first week there all you do is work on getting your permitt. The first day I got there Con-Way called me and said I was approved, so I just spent the week studying for my permitt while I looked for away back home. Con-Way is paying for half my school up front and I have to pay the other half. I will be attending a REAL truck driving school where I will have more than a week to learn how to drive like I said if I can't get the money to attending trucking school then back to CRST I go. Yes, it's going to suck with the split miles at .22 CPM but as long I am getting the experience I'm happy because that's my ticket to the next company.
I left the school. Sunday. I was told i would have to pay them for school. But that's fine. All they can do is not give you the certificate that i went to Kirkwood until i paid off every cent i owe which is no big deal because i got hired to a auto transport company which way better pay than here.
I'm on my 4th day of my 28 days otr training. I have officially been in sleeper berth for 69 hrs 34min. I have already had 2 restarts. The "fleet manager" is a joke. I wonder if I could get out of driver contract if my trainer told safety I couldn't drive.
