His phone should be able to receive a message/text from you and he can get it when he is not roaming.

 

Do not worry about it, you just sound like a worried wife. Just make sure you never part ways without telling them how you feel, you may never get another chance.

If you don't have a cell phone a lot of the major cell phone companies allow you to text a user from their website.
