Thanks. But what about the main flasher relay? Mine just has those 2 wires coming out of that. Should I just unplug them and replace them with a relay box?

The fact that your flasher relay is jerry-rig like that tells me that there's a problem beyond that most likely but with that said go ahead and replace the relay and plug the wires in. When you get the money I would take the truck down and have them take a look at why you have it wired in that way rather than in the fuse box itself like all the rest of the relays. Unless you are very good with electrical I would just leave that to the professionals. Don't want to set your truck on fire or anything by wiring something wrong know what I mean

I wish I could give you the answer I dont know though... I know from my truck that chasing down electrical problems stinks... Maybe someone else could point you in the right direction...

If anything else walk into a dealers service department and ask them what they think your problem could be and go from there...

Or maybe post your question in the mechanics forum on here, you might get some more responses that way?

Hmm, yeah I think I'll leave it for now. It seems to be a problem when I'm driving slow. Doesn't happen on the highway.

When I get back home I'll have my mechanic look into it because he's an electrician as well.

So far the truck hasn't blown up. The engine is holding. The weird issue with the flasher went away. But 3 day ago my APU crapped out. Carrier PC6000. It starts and it charges the batteries but no AC, Heat, or outlets work in the sleeper. Just stopped by a Carrier service place, they test it out, said it's the generator - a $2000 job. No thanks, for now. I might just buy a generator off eBay and me and my mechanic replace the thing when I get back.

Another issue, my #### windshield is / was leaking. I got Flex Seal, sealed the crap out of it on the inside and outside. We'll see how it holds up.

My ABS light is flashing randomly, I'm guessing it's just a sensor. Not a priority, will replace when I get back.

And lastly, I need to figure out a storage solution for this truck. The sleeper is smaller than your average Cascadia and the likes. And my storage consists of 4 tiny compartments and a flimsy home-made shelf above the bed. Need more storage to store more crap!

    No! More crap, MORE CRAP!

I did stop by a Home Depot and buy a multimeter and some storage bins. Looks cleaner now.

So, apparently my APU issues are...expanding. My APU fan/radiator broke off on the driver's side this past Friday. The bolts completely broke off the cab. So I half-assed fixed it with heavy duty Velcro and Flex Seal. Surprisingly it's still holding.

I initially stopped to "fix" the thing, dispatch called asking why I stopped for an hour. I explained the situation and he believed that my truck was "broken" throughout the weekend. So now I don't have any loads, apparently for days. Yay...
