Great post rooster... You have convinced me. I Was a company for ATS before the holidays and I had to leave because I could not keep the truck during my absence (had to go to Philippines to address some personal matter). I will be returning back to work soon and I will definately go back to ATS and do lease/rental program.

ATS is a great company because u decide your paycheck. They do not micro manage at all... However as a company driver I was still being held back b cause I did not have freedom of choosing my loads. Safe trips and go ATS...

That's funny. My folks are in the Philippines right now. I'm half Filipino.

Doesn't ATS have a load broad that you can pick all of your loads from?

As a company you run the load assigned to you by dispatch. As a contractor you get to choose from a list of loads.

How many loads do you get sent at once?

I start class on the 21 what can I expect when I get there. As of right now iam in the # 1 spot to pick truck. As long as no rehire comes in. Looking to getting started. Should I go for newer truck or stay around the cheaper onset.

Rooster, thanks for the info. There are lots of us out here that don't necessarily pipe in but we still enjoy the info derived from your personal experience and willingness to post. Even if you don't do it anymore or to that detail, thanks.
