Go-o-o-o-do question. I'm far from there now! I did check in last night; it really wasn't too bad. It dried up nicely and now looks like any other old, dirty wood floor. The customer who has it is a D/H who ships things that don't mind a dirty floor. I have a monster load of their stuff now...9,600 pounds. And I still hate these Weste Virginia hills, even that light.
Yeah, that's what I get for not proof reading before sending! "Go-o-o-odo?" "Weste?" Seriously? And me, an English major. Sheesh....
On a lighter note as I eat at Quiznos in the Huck's 100% employee owned (like my own company) Travel Plaza in Kuttwa, Kentucky. I definitely prefer life with an operable APU. That is all. As you were.
I received my pay for my first partial week. 1,554 miles. Not too bad for a week that started on Wednesday. So far this week, I'm over 2,000 paid miles with a take home pay of 32cpm...after deductions and taxes. Also not too shabby. Works well enough for me, considering I don't chase the dollar bill like many others do. And no new truck on my visit to the yard today. In fact, I made my delivery and passed by the yard; I didn't fuel there or even stop in -- I was very short on time and racing to the only Murray-area load available...975 miles to Pennsylvania. So I have an operating APU and one fair paycheck. So far, a good choice.
Glad to hear all is well DD.. my son in law is running quite well with his trainer and should be finished with his phase 1 tuesday..
