actually no, 6 days. she asked me to work tomorrow. average days 10-12 hours per day, im going to have 62-64 hours likely.

$16x40=$640
$24x22=$520 (aprox overtime)
close to $1,200 gross
not bad

 

i need the money pretty bad. my wife is pregnant we have another child on the way, i have my debt and my house needs a roof. i found a respectable company time to make some $$

 

While this is far from good hourly, it really depends on where you live, and the cost of living. That, coupled with you being a new hire, it seems reasonable, unless you are in a very expensive area.

 

Allot of the jobs around here in general pay much less. On of the other drivers that's almost as green as myself said she upped his pay to 18 pretty quickly.

Might as well have been. I was given directions via cell while driving. I was called dumb names and even given wrong directions and then yelled and screamed at while driving. Terrible.

 

There is an "off" button on that phone. I worked for a plumbing/HVAC wholesale for a while. They would not provide a cell phone, but expected me to be happy about using mine. Never offered to pay me anything for the minutes used. Consequently, I NEVER answered it, when I'd see it was from the store. Pissed the manager off greatly. Too bad, so sad.
