Probably the freedom to pick and choose what loads you take and where you want to go since they dispatch themselves thru a load board. No one tells them what to do, no dispatchers, you log onto the load board and plan yourself. Or the freedom of going home when you want and stay as long as you need/can afford.

Bottom line they still have that weekly payment to make and have to earn a living too but if you have the discipline it seems they can do pretty good for themselves on Choice.

That's my interpretation anyway, Maybe T has other thoughts to add but that's Freedom to me!

Yeah man you know I'm just kidding about the 2 months thing. There's a serious learning curve to figure out getting started, you seem to be doing pretty good after only 2 months.

Good for you man, if i could meet you i would buy you a cookie. Your happy, im happy. Life goes on, i define freedom because i can go anywhere i want, when i want, how i want, and go home when i want, for however long i want. Your "freedom" works for you, and my "freedom" works great for me, sounds like you got a good job that your happy with, good for you! Everyone can define what makes them happy, in different ways, what works good for me may not work well for others, but does that affect me in anyway? Nope. You drive safe out here.

The last thing this thread is going to be made into is ignorant people spewing there opinions with no guidance. It just makes the poster look very imature and maybe bored mixed with a little envy. Last i checked i think you needed to be 21 to hold a CDL, so that would make us all "grown ups" right? In my short experience on the road I've seen more "grown men" act more childish than my 2 year old nephew. Anyone who wants to post something negative, or just feel like hating on me for doing what im doing, well...knock yourself out, but for the rest of people that post just ignore the truck drivers that are obviously better then the rest. I wont pay any attention to the posters that hide behind the internet and talk **** about something they know nothing about, however, if anyone feels the need to talk in person dont be shy, talk your **** to my face, but please dont act like a child because you got the internet.

I don't yet understand why, but some people have an inate need to degrade and/or ridicule others in order to make themselves feel better about their own situation. We're all guilty of it from time to time, but some folks just can't seem to help themselves. Someday l'll figure it out, until then, I'll just point and laugh.
