N14 Celect CPL 1580

Found what’s supposed to be a ‘94 N14 Celect, CPL 1580. Engine has no tag. What’s might be the original HP and if rebuilt what HP can it be brought up to?

 

Can this engine be brought up 475-500hp?

 

I think 525 factory

 

I’m not to sure about 525hp. It’s a Celect.

 

Engine number stamped in left rear of block on flat machined area.

 

what is your engine serial number? I'm not familiar with the 1580 CPL, but I can check it out for you

 

1580 is a 460. Could go higher with 1844 cpl but would need different internal parts and retime engine
