But a one way rental is crazy! They are not friendly when they have to move a car back to where they need it.

Ok PJ & Catalina Flyer. I looked everything up and the best routing on the bus looks like taking the Bellair Airporter from Cle Ellum to the Yakima (Howard Johnson) stop. The 6:40 departure would get you in at 8:15 PM. The Greyhound would leave at 11:45 PM from the bus station on E Yakima Av & S 6th St. Literally 1 block south and 3 blocks west. You would have a transfer in Stanfield, OR which is a Pilot truck stop with about a 30 min layover and that connecting bus is your bus all the way to Denver by way of Boise, SLC, and Cheyenne and no additional transfers. I found the info at http://www.airporter.com and http://www.greyhound.com Please let me know if I can give you anymore info. Also Catalina Flyer important to note first of all you are a true human being for offering this and being as greyhound is the company they are in order to purchase a ticket for someone else you need to note that it is a gift ticket or they will cause all kinds of heck at the bus depot.

Hi, Ray, thanks for the info on flatbedding. I love challenges. I better. I encounter them on a too regular basis! :biggrin_2552:

And yes, I spent a few minutes with a rude dispatcher while riding down the hill in the patrol car (requesting they load money on my comdata for the motel; denied), and at least an hour the next morning, both with HR and the VP of the company. VP Becky M. said she'd decided not to help, and that once she makes up her mind, she never changes it. So give the lady points for stickin' to her guns, hmmmm? How about throwing a little reflection into the mix before clinging to a decision that means multiple headaches in the future? A little humanity never hurt anybody that I know of.

Check out Mavrick and TMC, both flatbedding companies. Not sure of their requirements.

Dept of labor employees aren't allowed to give you any legal advice which would include filing a complaint. I think you would be better off seeking legal advice because you have a strong whistleblower case.
