Need a new dashcam, what should I buy? Recommendations?

    That is the first thing that came to mind. The camera I use has a mini SD card, and it needs to be formatted before install.

    IMG_20190209_111138.jpg so got home and put in new sd card looked like it was working. So then when I get back to the truck and hook it up it gets frozen on this

    Did you format the new SD card? Mine only worked for a short time until I formatted the card.

    Ok so I held down the power button and got it to reboot then it says software update installed. So yes no idea what was with it but it's working

    My camera has a reset button for those times it freezes up.

    You might want to move the camera to the passengers side windshield. Anything in the travel of the wiper is a write up if you get inspected. My wife got one in Michigan, My driver in OH and I got one in TX. Just saying.

    He should be fine if he places the dashcam on the passenger side, higher above (for a fuller view of the hood grill area), and behind the wiper area.
