    Anything thinkware.

They are designed for fulltime use, and guarantee they will not fail due to extreme heat or cold. Plus they have an app that lets you pull clips and such from your phone.

Give these guys a shot. I’ve personally purchased two camera systems from them. They are extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and stand behind whatever they sell. They also have buyers guides for trucks, cars, motorcycles, you name it....they’re out of British Columbia in Canada. You can’t ask for better

I don't know of any such. If you had gold contacts in the camera that can accept a quality card micro or whatever size with gold contacts also that is the way to do it. If you had tin for example against gold on a computer socket you corrode and kill it at some point. The second thought is never to touch those contact spots.

I am working on a replacement camera myself and it's going to be something that needs to be good. I don't know if you can get good for 250 or less. Too basic is a little something left out.

this is the one I've been using it works really good it can insert GPS location and speed you can have the sound on or off. And unlike the Garmin it says it works with 128gb SD card although I've been using a 256 GB card Samsung U3 that works just fine.

It has pretty good light quality at night it wasn't totally dark but pretty dark in this video.
Think I paid 160 with shipping although the price is probably come down.

PS. The dashcam I posted on the post above with the 256 gb micro SD card make sure you buy a Samsung U3. The SD card is nothing to save money on you want as fast as memory as you can get. But with that 256 gigabit card I can record for like 48 hours solid before it starts to overwrite.
the speed insert on the video is optional for those of you that speed all the time you might want to turn that off. I got mine off of Amazon.
