Its alright man, I get that kind of response a lot. I ignore them. Right now I start school with Millis Transfer on Monday. Provided nothing goes wrong I have the job. I am still a little concerned but I will keep y'all informed.

I've never done drugs in my life. I couldn't care less how many times they give me a UA. I will never fail one. I don't even take prescription meds. I also very rarely drink. When I say very rarely...uou can translate that to mean. MAYBE twice a year so I couldn't care less about blood tests, hair follicle tests or breathalyzers.

I've been around the block a bit. I've seen apps come in with less than what you had that got tossed. I'm glad it is working out for you. Personally, if I was in that position again to hire or not, I would have passed on you. You know why. It's not because you're a bad guy, or I hate felons. But there is a stigma attached to the word "felon". Especially one with a body on his record. I'm not telling you anything you don't already know.

Good luck at Millis. It's where I got my start and a real good place if you ask me. Good people to work for.

Good luck, man...rooting for ya. I got a serious felony (17 yrs old) yet I am driving for a good company.

It is not where you've been, but where you are going that counts.

Just saw this. Millis will be good if they take you and you get through. Get some experience and there are several places around Azle that will let you haul frac sand. My boss was leased on to them when I was hauling sand. Used to get to go take the pee tests for the bums every month. After 3 months I told them to shove it. Was not driving home from Mentone for test drivers sitting at home could take. Also flatbed outfit that hires lots or ex cons. Made great money hauling sand 1st yr. This yr too many cut throat carpet baggers in state. Pay went way down and I went to hauling fuel. Should have done it yrs ago. Good luck. Stay clean and be dependable and your past will pretty well be forgotten.
