No I did not say anything like that. Its pretty obvious that its a big deal. Once again. We're all adults here. I'm not assuming anything so please don't infer that.
Six of one half dozen of the other it would be interesting to know how many drivers that have 5 or more years and have successfully climbed the ladder how many were worried about making alot of money the first 2 years.I fear when your new if your not focused your not going to make it
Also he has experience. He drove for two years years ago and he's driven for about 100 hours and licensed. If I thought he knew what he was doing and was ready to hit the road I wouldn't have pisted the question. This is a waste of time. If anyone else has specific questions or is interested please pm.
I think everything I have read and written in here has been a waste of time and that's the point I can't go anywhere for 10 hours.
Well obviously. Who said he's not focused. You spend so much time saying everyone won't make it. Hes done it before. Grow up. We aren't 2 year olds. We have no unrealistic expectations and have not once asked snyone whether or not they thought this was the right career move. Thats already been decided.
Im saying he isnt focused sou ds like a cluster #### to me Im a state certified heavy equipment operator I work in the oilfields some county work but every couple years I have to get back in the truck for a year or my cdl goes to #### I drive dump trucks water trucks but if you want to drive big rigs you cant sit out of the truck for to many years I have been jumping back and forth for many years. Your not 2 years old but for whatever reason your starting at the bottom again and for swift but your leaving swift sounds solid good luck. 2 years experience several years ago and a couple hundred hours recently means your 5 years and a perfect record away from getting the keys to my truck .I don't mean to come off like a dick but you have a long way to.go.
I think by the time you find someone willing to give you a shot...then go through the application process.... then go through orientation.... then wait for THAT company to provide you with a trainer.....you could have and should have been miles, and miles, and miles down the road with Swift. My answer stands: SWIFT
Thank you white dog I think I'm coming off like an ### and all I'm saying is if your new or if your experienced but starting over what is a month waiting for trainer you are worth nothing to nobody so relax and put your time in focus on not crashing instead. I can't imagine ever letting my cdl become obsolete where I had to start over it was alot of work and I'm proud of it I love operating equipment but I will always keep my cdl in the top hiring bracket. I just don't get it
So...let's see if I got this straight: Tuesday, beachin was so impatient when his sponsor, school, and employer (all the same company) told him he had to wait for a Trainer; that he turned to the world wide web to look for a different job. And the very next day (Wednesday), they had one for him? LOL! You dream chasing rookies BETTER start figuring out how to embrace a little patience. The first time you have to wait more than 2 or 4 hours for your next dispatch you will be looking to jump ship.
