    Hey Honeydew,

    http://www.groendyke.com/careers/training

This is where I got that info: CLASS 0 DRIVER:
Fewer than six months of over-the-road driving experience, or has completed a driving course from an approved school, finishing in the top of the class, with good attendance. 28-day training plan.

The "or" to me, means that you recently graduated, are top of your class (good grades) and was never absent. I don't see anything about One year OTR.

You'd qualify for this if you have 4 months, good record etc... They even say "fewer than 6 months."

Go for it, fill out an application.

If you don't remember anything else remember this When you Haul Hazmat Your Fines for screwing up something will be very...very Expensive your chance's of getting inspected is also high You could run out of CDL points very fast So hustling hazmat is a NO NO in my book your CDL is your JOB don't throw it a way so some greedy schmuck can get rich off of you and leave you holding a few smackers if not going in debt a few thousand dollars in the hole with a big fat Hazmat FINE. a simple flat tire could get you in a big mess say you are doing your thing and you get a flat? what if the flat got hot? you are loaded with HAZ.....Fire...Fire ..Fire.? even if everything turned out ok but you where out of hours at the time you had the fire how are you going to explain that on your logs or a simple incident report? and believe you me the company you work for will throw your hiny under the bus faster than you can say what happened here Why? They can't afford the fine and they can't afford to get their DOT Number suspended ? If every driver drove only 100 miles a day for one week no matter what anybody say the trucker wages and the owner OP's Rates will go so High we will all get rich That's why the unions do it they call it milking the job you don't need to work harder you need to work smarter tyan tean my chicken haulin freeiend

    CLASS 0 DRIVER:
Fewer than six months of over-the-road driving experience, or has completed a driving course from an approved school, finishing in the top of the class, with good attendance. 28-day training plan.
    CLASS 1 DRIVER:
At least six months, but fewer than two years, of over-the-road driving experience. No tank. 28-day training plan.
    CLASS 2 DRIVER:
At least two years of over-the-road driving experience. No tank. 10-day training plan.
    CLASS 3 DRIVER:
At least two years of over-the-road driving experience with a minimum six months of tank. Five-day training plan.

I wonder what they would consider 1 year of OTR, plus 7 years of Class B tank experience. Guess I'll give them a call on Monday and ask.
