I have a UPS box that looks like a real address. I have used it for tax and business purposes with no issue. The only time it posed a problem was when my lender ran a background check and it popped up as UPS. I just gave him the address of my companies terminal and requested all correspondence go to my UPS address. I also live in the truck. When I take any real time off I just get a room.

My first though was that a few trucker friends band together and rent a simple and cheap place to "live"... Like pilots do in big cities... Then if/when you are in town, you have a place to crash during home time and can visit the local attractions too.
But the RV Club now sounds much easier.Chinatown Thanks this. -
Crash pads are the best! But, I wouldn't want my mail to go there. I would definitely use a physical address and a post office box.
If it gets to be too hard to check my mail I may have to use my kid's address at college. She's smart enough to sort, pay bills, and text me anything that needs resolution. -

The incoming mail at my current physical address is not as secure as I would like. Currently I use my church address and the pastor gives me my mail. To date I have had no issues.

If you are a company driver, you should have a place of residence, not some po box or some other way that makes it look like you are a vagrant. Owner Operators seem to be in a completely different situation.VA CDL Holder Thanks this. -
